Venturi is preparing for a special week-end for this seven meeting of the season. Having already cross Asia and America, the electric car championship arrives in Europe with the first home port for the Principality.

“Monaco is obviously a special race for us, says the team manager Nicolas Mauduit. We have a bit of media pressure, but it is a good pressure. It allows us to be specially focused on our goals. The target is to put big points and aim the podium with both drivers.”

Determined to shine at home, the Monegasque team hopes to have retained the lessons of the early season.

“We have done some youthfulness mistakes in the team, he confesses. But don’t forget that we are a young team. We also lacked a little luck and success on a few occasion. We want to erase all this now and show that we have learned from our mistakes.”

Convinced to maximize quickly the potential glimpsed repeatedly, Nicolas Mauduit is delighted to count on a particularly efficient and homogeneous driver line-up.

“We have chosen the two best possible drivers, says the director of Venturi programs. They can win here as well the one as the other one. And that is what interests us. Racing home brings added motivation to the team. Nick and Stéphane will show that they can go higher.”
