After an unprecedented year for Formula 1 in which the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in a reorganization of the calendar, Formula One has just announced the new dates for the next season. In 2021, 23 dates are registered.

The 78th edition of the Monaco Grand Prix will take place from Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 May 2021.

The season will start on the weekend of March 19-20-21, 2021 on the circuit of Sakhir in Bahrain. The closing date of this World Championship will be happen in the Yas Marina Bay in Abu Dhabi on December 03-04-05, 2021.

The F1 world welcomes two new circuits. Initially scheduled for the 2020 season before cancellation for sanitary reasons, Netherlands should have their own race in 2021. The second novelty on the calendar will be the appearance of Saudi Arabia at the end of November with a full night race in the streets of Jeddah.

This calendar still remains subject to the approval of the FIA World Motor Sport Council, which will be held in a few weeks. The evolution of the international health situation will be also a major issue in the holding of the events for this new season.
