Three days only after the arrival of the 86th Monte-Carlo Rally, crews entered in the 21th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique will also have to face a demanding route. The main feature will be a selection of Regularity Zones (ZRs) already used in previous editions of this prestigious event. The next one will mark the 65th anniversary of the win by Ford Zephyr N\u00b0365 driven by Maurice Gatsonides-Peter Worledge in 1953. And this 2018 edition will be even more exciting, thanks to the endless motivation of the Organizing Committee at Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM). The succession of Michel Decremer and Yannick Albert, the winning crew in 2017 aboard an Opel Ascona 2000, is now open\u2026<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n As always, Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique can only accept cars which participated to Monte-Carlo Rally between 1955 and 1980<\/strong>. And in order to allow all crews a chance to finish in a decent position, they have a choice between three averages to respect during the whole race.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The start of this 21th edition will be given on Wednesday January 31<\/strong> for the first concentration legs, in Oslo (1,611km \/ 09:55am) <\/strong>and Glasgow (1,987km \/ 6pm)<\/strong>. Then, on Friday February 2 <\/strong>other crews will depart from Bad Hombourg (1,028km \/ 2:00 pm)<\/strong>, Barcelona (1,150km \/ 2:30 pm)<\/strong>, Monte-Carlo (962km \/ 7pm)<\/strong> and Reims (801km \/ 7pm)<\/strong>. The first destination will be Bourgoin-Jallieu<\/strong> (Is\u00e8re), a rallying point that crews will reach on Saturday February 3 <\/strong>from 6:30am<\/strong> onwards. At that point, the concentration leg will be far from over, since all crews will have to go through a couple of well-known regularity zones: \u00ab\u00a0Le Gua \u2013 Saint-Michel-les-Portes \/ ZR1 \/\u00a039,99 km \/ 9:40am \u00bb<\/strong> followed by \u00ab\u00a0Col de Pennes – Pradelle \/ ZR2 \/ 16,28 km \/ 12:40am \u00bb<\/strong>. This concentration will end with the last check-point of the day in Crest<\/strong>, at 14:10pm<\/strong>, before all crews rejoin the host-city of Valence (Dr\u00f4me)<\/strong> where the first crews are expected on Champ de Mars<\/strong> from 3pm<\/strong> onwards.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n On Sunday February 4<\/strong>, at 6:50am<\/strong>, the Classification Leg<\/strong> in Ard\u00e8che will start with \u00ab\u00a0La Croze – Antraigues-sur-Volane\u00a0\/ ZR3 \/ 57,09 km \/\u00a07:50am\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, another classic stage with its finish line in front of the famous Remise of the Jouanny family. Then, another legendary stage will follow, \u00ab Burzet – Burzet \/ ZR4 \/\u00a045,17 km \/ 9:55am\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, in its traditional version going up through Sagnes-et-Goudoulet<\/strong>, passing through Lachamp-Rapha\u00ebl<\/strong> and down along the Ray-Pic Cascade<\/strong>. The half-day pause is scheduled from 12:50pm<\/strong> on Place du March\u00e9 in Saint-Agr\u00e8ve<\/strong>, where the opportunity of tasting local produce will allow all crews to spend some good time before starting \u00ab\u00a0Le Sauzet – Lamastre \/ ZR5 \/\u00a023,86 km \/ 13:20pm \u00bb<\/strong> and \u00ab\u00a0Lamastre – Plats \/ ZR6 \/ 31,33 km \/ 2:10pm \u00bb<\/strong>. Then, on the way back to Valence (4:00pm)<\/strong>, there will again be a popular and festive stop on Quai Farconnet<\/strong> in Tournon-sur-Rh\u00f4ne<\/strong>, from 3:10pm<\/strong> onwards.<\/p>\n Heading for Vercors Regional Nature Park, the 1st<\/sup> part of the Common Leg<\/strong> will start on Monday February 5<\/strong> at 6:30am<\/strong> and the first Regularity Zone of the day will be \u00ab\u00a0Col Gaudissart \u2013 Col de Carri \/ ZR7 \/\u00a014,22 km \/ 8:00am\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> via Col de L\u2019Echarasson (1,146m) followed by \u00ab\u00a0Les Noni\u00e8res – Chichilianne \/ ZR8 \/\u00a019,26 km \/ 10:05am\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> via Col de Men\u00e9e (1,457m). A pause at Clelles-Mens<\/strong> Station, from 10:50<\/strong> onwards, will allow competitors to regroup and relax before starting \u00ab\u00a0La Motte-Chalancon \u2013 Saint-Nazaire-le-D\u00e9sert\u00a0\/ ZR9 \/\u00a017,40 km \/ 1:15pm \u00bb<\/strong> through Col de Chamauche (1037 m) and then \u00ab\u00a0Col de Carri \u2013 Saint-Jean-en-Royans \/ ZR10 \/ 8,42 km \/ 3.30pm \u00bb<\/strong>. The last pause of the day, before returning to Valence<\/strong> (5:05pm<\/strong>), will happen at Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans<\/strong> nautical base for one last check-point from 4:05p<\/strong>m onwards.<\/p>\n On Tuesday February 6<\/strong>, the first crews will leave Valence<\/strong> at 5:15am<\/strong>. This 2nd<\/sup> part of the Common Leg <\/strong>will start with another pass through \u00ab\u00a0Saint-Nazaire-le-D\u00e9sert\u00a0\u2013 La Motte-Chalancon \/ ZR11 \/\u00a021,84 km \/ 6:50am\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, via Col des Roustans (1,028m), followed by another legendary portion \u00ab\u00a0Montauban-sur-l’Ouv\u00e8ze \u2013 Eygalayes\u00a0\/ ZR12 \/\u00a049,70 km \/ 08:20am\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> with no less than three major passes on the way: Col de Perty \u2013 1,302m \/ Col de Pierre-Vesce \u2013 1,056m \/ Col Saint-Jean \u2013 1,158 m) \u00a0. After a quick pause on Place du Tampinet<\/strong> in Digne-les-Bains<\/strong>, from 11:05am<\/strong>, the crews will head for Col de Corobin (1,211m), the high point of \u00ab\u00a0Digne-les-Bains \u2013 Chaudon-Norante\u00a0\/ ZR13 \/ 16,23 km \/ 11:15am\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>. The last check-point before entering parc ferm\u00e9 in Monaco (3:15pm) <\/strong>will be set up on Place du G\u00e9n\u00e9ral De Gaulle <\/strong>in Eze Village<\/strong>, from 2:45am<\/strong> onwards.<\/p>\n The Final Leg<\/strong>, scheduled for the night of Tuesday 6 to Wednesday February 7<\/strong>, will start from Monaco <\/strong> at 8:45pm<\/strong>, with two legendary passes on the menu (Col de Turini \u2013 1,607m and Col de la Couillolle \u2013 1,678m) when driving through \u00ab\u00a0Sospel \u2013 Lantosque \/ ZR14 \/\u00a050,23 km \/ 9:45pm\u00a0\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> and \u00ab\u00a0Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tin\u00e9e \u2013 Beuil \/ ZR15 \/\u00a022,65 km \/ 0:05am\u00a0\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>.
