{"id":10586255,"date":"2022-09-26T18:43:32","date_gmt":"2022-09-26T16:43:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/acm.mc\/edition\/4e-e-rallye-monte-carlo\/presentation-de-lepreuve\/"},"modified":"2022-09-26T18:44:51","modified_gmt":"2022-09-26T16:44:51","slug":"presentation-of-the-event","status":"publish","type":"edition","link":"https:\/\/acm.mc\/en\/edition\/4e-e-rallye-monte-carlo\/event\/presentation-of-the-event\/","title":{"rendered":"Presentation of the event"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"parent":10584495,"menu_order":873,"template":"","categories":[],"class_list":["post-10586255","edition","type-edition","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":{"afficher_la_page_en_grise":false,"activer_la_redirection":false,"contenu_des_pages":[{"acf_fc_layout":"bloc-contenu","contenu":"<p><strong>4<sup>th<\/sup> E-Rally Monte-Carlo (October 23-27, 2019)<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Even more intense!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>In order to make the 4<\/strong><strong>th<\/strong><strong> edition of E-Rally Monte-Carlo another memorable event, the Organizing Committee at Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) decided to continue promoting diversity of terrain: the route will be highlighted by 12 regularity stages, some of them brand new, some others mythical where whole pages of the legend of Rally Monte-Carlo were written, either in the modern WRC event or in the famous Historic version of the most glamorous rally in the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the first time since its creation in 1995, the electric version of Monte-Carlo Rally heads for a host-city which is familiar with Monaco and its organizers, <strong>Valence<\/strong>. The start is set on the Champ de Mars of the Dr\u00f4me capital city for <strong>Wednesday October 23<\/strong>, from <strong>7:30 am <\/strong>to <strong>12:30 <\/strong>for technical scrutineering and administrative checking, before the big start scheduled for <strong>2:00 pm.<\/strong> Competitors will head for the Is\u00e8re valley and the Vercors mountains for the <strong>1<\/strong><strong>st<\/strong><strong> Leg, <\/strong>with an appetizer called <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Saint-Pierre-de-Ch\u00e9rennes \u2013 Choranche \/ RZ1 \/\u00a013 km \/ 3:30 pm\u00a0\u00bb <\/strong>but no specific difficulties<strong>.<\/strong> Then, on the way back through the Dr\u00f4me department, the serious part will begin with <strong>\u00ab\u00a0L\u00e9oncel \u2013 Barbi\u00e8res \/ RZ2 \/\u00a014 km \/ 4 pm\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> and the passing of Col de Tourniol (1145m), followed by famous hairpins on the way down, an authentic test of strength at the end of this 1<sup>st<\/sup> leg, with the arrival in <strong>Valence<\/strong> scheduled for <strong>6:30 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ard\u00e8che will be on the menu of the <strong>2<\/strong><strong>nd<\/strong> <strong>Leg, on Thursday October 24, <\/strong>after a start from <strong>Valence <\/strong>at <strong>7:30 am. <\/strong>The first playground of the day will be <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Gilhoc-sur-Orm\u00e8ze \u2013 Saint-Barth\u00e9l\u00e9my-Grozon\u00a0\/ RZ3 \/ 13 km \/ 8:30 am\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, a stage which should not be taken lightly because it can reveal decisive, on very narrow roads. Difficulty will then move one step up, with competitors having to confront a mythical stage of the World Rally Championship (WRC), <strong>\u00ab Saint-Martial \u2013 Burzet \/ RZ4 \/\u00a030 km \/ 10 am\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, including the whole way down from Ray Pic. As a conclusion of that second day, <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Antraigues-sur-Volane \u2013 Vals-les-Bains \/ RZ5 \/\u00a021 km \/ 11:30 am \u00bb <\/strong>will also be a serious test before heading back to <strong>Valence<\/strong> around <strong>16:30<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On Friday October 25, <\/strong>departure from <strong>Valence<\/strong> is scheduled for <strong>6:00 am<\/strong>. The <strong>3<\/strong><strong>rd<\/strong><strong> Leg <\/strong>will start with a long drive from Dr\u00f4me to Hautes-Alpes in order to reach <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Oze \u2013 Lardier-et-Valen\u00e7a\u00a0\/ RZ6 \/\u00a032 km \/ 9:30 am\u00a0\u00bb <\/strong>and to go through the passes of Bachassette (940m), Verniers (1042m) and Espr\u00e9aux (1160m). No respite whatsoever, since the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence will follow suit in the form of a very demanding stage: <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Digne-les-Bains \u2013 Chaudon-Norante\u00a0\/ RZ7 \/\u00a016 km \/ 11:30 am\u00a0\u00bb, <\/strong>made famous by its Corobin pass (1211m)<strong>.<\/strong> Next on the menu will be the Var department, with an ancient stage of previous editions, <strong>\u00abCastellane \u2013 Chateauvieux\u00a0\/ RZ8 \/ 16 km \/ 1:30 pm\u00a0\u00bb <\/strong>and one last drive to the <strong>Principality of Monaco,<\/strong> where the first competitors will be expected at parc ferm\u00e9 any time after <strong>8 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The next day, <strong>Saturday October 26, <\/strong>the <strong>4<\/strong><strong>th<\/strong><strong> Leg <\/strong>will start in <strong>Monaco<\/strong> at <strong>8 am<\/strong>, heading for Alpes-Maritimes. With two beautiful playgrounds in a superb setting: <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Toudon\u00a0\u2013 La Penne \/ RZ9 \/\u00a020 km \/ 10 am\u00a0<\/strong>\u00bb followed by <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Cons\u00e9gudes \u2013 Bouyon\u00a0\/ RZ10 \/\u00a013 km \/ 11:15 am\u00a0\u00bb. <\/strong>Then back to <strong>Monaco <\/strong>in order to recharge the batteries in the parc ferm\u00e9, from <strong>2 pm <\/strong>onwards.<\/p>\n<p>The start of the <strong>Final Leg<\/strong>, scheduled during the night of <strong>Saturday 26<\/strong> to <strong>Sunday October 27 <\/strong>will take place in <strong>Monaco<\/strong> at <strong>9 pm<\/strong>. The menu of this last night includes traditional stages such as <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Sospel \u2013 La-Boll\u00e8ne-V\u00e9subie \/ RZ11 \/ 31 km \/ 10 pm\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> and <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Lantosque \u2013 Luc\u00e9ram \/ RZ12 \/ 16 km \/ 11 pm \u00bb<\/strong>.
