{"id":10606004,"date":"2025-05-08T10:36:24","date_gmt":"2025-05-08T08:36:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/acm.mc\/epreuves\/e-rallye-monte-carlo\/"},"modified":"2026-04-24T15:55:20","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T13:55:20","slug":"e-rallye-monte-carlo","status":"publish","type":"epreuves","link":"https:\/\/acm.mc\/en\/epreuves\/e-rallye-monte-carlo\/","title":{"rendered":"E-Rallye Monte-Carlo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Organising Committee of the Automobile Club de Monaco, organiser of the E Rallye Monte Carlo, has decided to suspend the next edition of its 100% electric event, originally scheduled and included in the calendar of the Bridgestone FIA ecoRally Cup from October 14 to 17, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This carefully considered decision comes in a context that calls for a strategic and organisational reassessment of the event, in order to ensure that it is perfectly aligned with the sporting, technological and environmental ambitions of the Automobile Club de Monaco in the future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong><em>As pioneers in promotion of electric rallying since the mid-1990s, the Automobile Club de Monaco now wishes to wait for the development or emergence of new energy solutions before reintroducing this competition to the event calendar<\/em><\/strong>\u201d, explains Eric Barrabino, General Commissioner of the ACM.<\/p>\n<p>Pending significant new technological advances in the field of electric mobility and alternative energies, it was therefore decided, collectively, to suspend the 2026 edition. \u201c<strong><em>Since its creation in 1995, the E-Rallye Monte-Carlo has established itself as an international reference in regularity competitions dedicated to 100% electric and alternative-energy vehicles, bringing together one of the largest line-ups in the discipline<\/em><\/strong>\u201d, emphasises Jacques Rossi, President of the ACM\u2019s Electric and New Energies Commission.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, and out of a sense of responsibility toward the various stakeholders, the Automobile Club de Monaco has deemed it appropriate to pause the organisation of the event. \u201c<strong><em>This suspension does not call into question the Automobile Club de Monaco\u2019s commitment to sustainable mobility or its desire to promote innovations related to the energy transition. This is exactly the bold challenge taken up again by the organizing committee of this edition of the fully electric Rallye Monte-Carlo, the 13<sup>th<\/sup> and penultimate round of the 2025 Bridgestone FIA ecoRally Cup, which also celebrates the 30<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of its creation and innovations.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nWith a 14 Regularity Stages\u2019 (RS) route and more than 230 timed kilometers, this year\u2019s event promises to be even tougher than previous editions! While its secrecy has been dropped, the rally still boasts a rich, intense and demanding program. The ceremonial \u201cGrand Start\u201d will once again take place in the sumptuous setting of Monte-Carlo\u2019s Casino Square, a symbol of elegance and tradition.
