But the major novelty in 2019 was the battery life of the Formula E second generation (GEN 2) which let the drivers participate to a race on only one car.<\/p>\n<p>On the same track used in 2015 &amp; 2017, several famous drivers were entered as S\u00e9bastien Buemi, Lucas di Grassi, Jean-Eric Vergne, Pascal Wehrlein, Stoffel Vandoorne or also the new ex-F1 driver, Felipe Massa<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9819930\" src=\"https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Photos2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" \/><br \/>\nAfter starting on pole position Jean-Eric Vergne (DS Techeetah ) could secure the win. He was able to defend his position even with the attacks from Rowland, Massa and Wehrlein. The Monaco E-Prix has been an entertaining race with a lot of actions.<\/p>\n<p>With that win,\u00a0<strong>Jean-Eric Vergne<\/strong>\u00a0gets his second success of the season \u2013 he won in Sanya in March. The French driver ended the race in front of\u00a0<strong>Oliver Rowland<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Felipe Massa<\/strong>. The Brazilian did honor to his\u00a0<strong>Venturi<\/strong>\u00a0for its home race thanks to a solid driving.
