As a major partner of the event created in 1995 by the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM); and as a competing team, with two 100% female crews: Marianne Alais, journalist and content creator, and Sorhor F\u00e8vre, her seasoned co-driver, in a Renault M\u00e9gane E-Tech bearing race number 25; Elodie Chapuy and Emilie Dubourg, in a Volvo EX30 also bearing, in addition to number 48, a red AVIS banner.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10602744\" src=\"https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/48_CHAPUY_DUBOURG_Copyright_Promopub_Nogue_Roucoules_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1620\" height=\"1080\" srcset=\"https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/48_CHAPUY_DUBOURG_Copyright_Promopub_Nogue_Roucoules_1.jpg 1620w, https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/48_CHAPUY_DUBOURG_Copyright_Promopub_Nogue_Roucoules_1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/48_CHAPUY_DUBOURG_Copyright_Promopub_Nogue_Roucoules_1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/48_CHAPUY_DUBOURG_Copyright_Promopub_Nogue_Roucoules_1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/48_CHAPUY_DUBOURG_Copyright_Promopub_Nogue_Roucoules_1-1536x1024.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1620px) 100vw, 1620px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Alais-F\u00e8vre crew took 39<sup>th<\/sup> place in this weather-shortened 8<sup>th<\/sup> edition. And 4<sup>th<\/sup> place in the Ladies Cup, contested this year by almost a dozen women drivers, including winning French driver Karel Colibert who finished 18<sup>th<\/sup> overall in a Volkswagen ID5, Dutchwoman Beitske Visser, runner-up of the Ladies Cup and who finished 21<sup>st<\/sup> overall in a Polestar, and Corsican Doris Mattei, 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place \u00a0and 23<sup>rd<\/sup> overall in a Hyundai Kona.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Marianne Alais posted a video each day about her 5<sup>th<\/sup> participation in the event. <em>\u201cIt&#8217;s like a little P\u00e9kin Express, a breath of oxygen, but it&#8217;s also very tiring,\u201d<\/em> she said on Wednesday just before setting off from the Place du Casino. <em>\u201cThe days are long and intense, and you have to stay very focused. But there&#8217;s an advantage now, and that&#8217;s that we don&#8217;t have to look for recharging points anymore!\u201d<\/em> she added, very enthusiastically.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Monegasque event is perfectly in line with the vision of AVIS, which aims to promote a new way of driving that is more ecological, more economical, calmer, more technological &#8211; in a word, more responsible. And AVIS is putting its money where its mouth is, with 20 different electric models available in the French rental fleet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event should have ended on Saturday with an <strong>AVIS e-Power Stage<\/strong> on Col de Turini, with a separate trophy, as they do in the World Rally Championship (WRC). But the weather decided otherwise.
