{"id":10607013,"date":"2025-05-25T10:01:14","date_gmt":"2025-05-25T08:01:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/acm.mc\/f3-tsolov-sans-rival-devant-bilinski-et-boya\/"},"modified":"2025-05-25T13:23:39","modified_gmt":"2025-05-25T11:23:39","slug":"f3-tsolov-unchallenged-ahead-of-bilinski-and-boya","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acm.mc\/en\/f3-tsolov-unchallenged-ahead-of-bilinski-and-boya\/","title":{"rendered":"F3: Tsolov unchallenged, ahead of Bilinski and Boya"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Bulgarian Nikola Tsolov (Campos Racing) started from pole position and won the Formula 3 Main Race at the Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix de Monaco on Sunday, without any doubts whatsoever, twenty years after the success of Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A member of the Red Bull Junior Team, Tsolov finished ahead of Poland&#8217;s Roman Bilinski (Rodin Motorsport), who never threatened him, and Spain&#8217;s Mari Boya (Campos), who was harassed for 27 laps by Britain&#8217;s Callum Voisin (Rodin Motorsport, who finished just off the podium.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10607009\" src=\"https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_5498-Edited-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1707\" srcset=\"https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_5498-Edited-scaled.jpg 2560w, https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_5498-Edited-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_5498-Edited-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_5498-Edited-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_5498-Edited-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DSC_5498-Edited-2048x1365.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2560px) 100vw, 2560px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Tsolov escaped twice in the lead, initially extending his gap to 8 seconds before a virtual Safety Car period, then he went back on the attack and finished 7 seconds ahead of Bilinski, who was next to him on the front row. He won last year&#8217;s Formula 3 Sprint Race, so this is his second victory in the Principality at just 18 years of age.<\/p>\n<p>German Tim Tramnitz (MP Motorsport) was never able to get into the fight at the front (5th) and championship leader Rafael Camara (Trident) finished in the rail at the Piscine, with a right rear wheel torn off, an anonymous race in the main pack. He still leads the overall classification, but his lead over Tramnitz and Tsolov has shrunk this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>On the French side, Alessandro Giusti (MP Motorsport), who started from pole position in Saturday&#8217;s Sprint Race but only finished 4th, took advantage of the numerous incidents in a race marred by yellow flags to take a well-deserved 10th place. As for his compatriot Th\u00e9ophile Na\u00ebl (Van Amersfoort), he consoled himself with his 22nd place (out of 30 starters) with the best lap of the race.
