As tradition dictates, the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique celebrates the history and the legends who have shaped the sport. The official poster for the 2026 edition draws direct inspiration from the 1976 Rallye Monte-Carlo<\/strong>, revisiting its iconic graphic design to mark the 50\u1d57\u02b0 anniversary of an unforgettable achievement: the victory of Mich\u00e8le Mouton and Fran\u00e7oise Conconi in the Ladies\u2019 Cup<\/strong>, clinched that year at the wheel of an Alpine-Renault A110\u202f1600\u202fSC.<\/p>\n

Already seen as a rising star in motorsport at the time, Mich\u00e8le Mouton dazzled spectators and competitors alike in January 1976 with her talent, determination, and composure on the notoriously tricky winter roads. Partnered with co-driver Fran\u00e7oise Conconi, she set the pace from the early stages, dominating her rivals to secure the prestigious Ladies\u2019 Cup \u2014 a performance that drew widespread acclaim across the rallying world. This Monte-Carlo victory proved to be a defining moment in her career, paving the way for her historic ascent to the very top of the sport. Just a few years later, she became the first \u2014 and still the only \u2014 woman to win a round of the FIA World Rally Championship (Sanremo 1981) and to contend for the world title against the greatest drivers of her era.<\/p>\n
