Bringing together 216 volunteers divided into several teams, members of the Marshals\u2019 Corps took part in a fictional rally organized on the roads of Monaco\u2019s hinterland, allowing them to prepare in conditions as close to real life as possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For more than forty years, the \u00ab Circuit Routier d\u2019Instructions Commissaires \u00bb (C.R.I.C.) has been an essential step in ensuring the correct application of safety instructions and rally regulations. For this edition, around fifteen virtual crews served as the thread of the day, with the aim of testing the reflexes, organization and coordination of these true \u201cguardian angels\u201d of motorsport. After the morning briefings, the teams were deployed along a route featuring three special stages, covering a total of 108 km, including 22 km against the clock.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>The main objective of the day is to make sure that what was taught during the theoretical training sessions has been properly understood by our marshals, and that they will be able, depending on the scenarios, to react, adapt and respond as quickly as possible, while respecting the regulations throughout our events,<\/em>\u201d says Christophe Fabri, Deputy Chief Marshal in charge of the Marshals.<\/p>\n<p>Eager to recreate the setting of an international event, the Rallye Monte-Carlo organization also invited the official timing provider of the WRC World Championship, enabling marshals to work with the same tools they will use during the January rallies. Each marshal post was supervised by an evaluator tasked with observing, checking and assessing the work of both marshals and post chiefs. \u201c<em>Their reactions and behavior are monitored very closely, because that is what will make the difference in race conditions<\/em>,\u201d explains Cyril Vada, head of the training program.<\/p>\n<p>All eyes now turn to January 2026, with the Rallye Monte-Carlo WRC (22\u201325.01) followed by the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique (29.01\u201307.02), where these volunteers will put into practice, on the ground, everything covered during this training day.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anticipate, train, master the regulations and procedures: the marshals who will be working on the upcoming Rallye Monte-Carlo events gathered this Sunday, 7 December, for an intensive training day.
