Despite significant overnight work by his mechanics, his <strong>1969 Ferrari 312<\/strong> suffered a failure shortly before the cars assembled on the grid. In the closing stages of the Series E race, several drivers were caught out at la Rascasse. <strong>Stuart Hall (McLaren M23 n\u00b033)<\/strong> emerged victorious under yellow flag conditions, ahead of <strong>Nicholas Padmore (Lotus 77 n\u00b05)<\/strong> and <strong>Guillaume Roman (Ensign N175 n\u00b037)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In Series C, <strong>Richard Wilson<\/strong> delivered a dominant performance in the <strong>Maserati 250S n\u00b056<\/strong>. <strong>Frederic Wakeman (Cooper-Jaguar T38 n\u00b076)<\/strong> and <strong>Mathias Sielecki (Aston Martin DB3S n\u00b070)<\/strong> completed the podium, with the latter securing third place late in the race.<\/p>\n<p>In Series F, <strong>Michael Lyons (Hesketh 308E n\u00b024)<\/strong> claimed his second victory of the day. He finished ahead of <strong>Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Rouvier (Tyrrell 010 n\u00b034)<\/strong> and <strong>Sam Hancock (Fittipaldi F8 n\u00b015)<\/strong>, who had battled closely for second place.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Series G delivered a dramatic race, marked by several interruptions. <strong>Stuart Hall (March 821 n\u00b018)<\/strong> finally took victory ahead of <strong>Alex Kapadia (Williams FW08 n\u00b06)<\/strong> and <strong>Werner D\u2019Ansembourg (Brabham BT49D n\u00b02)<\/strong>.
