These two exciting races brought another significant chapter in the history of electric racing in Monaco to a close.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With thrilling action on the track with 382 overtakes across two races, packed grandstands, numerous VIPs and a number of <a href=\"https:\/\/acm.mc\/en\/innovation-comes-to-life-in-monaco\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">talks and activities<\/a> during <strong>Monaco E-Prix<\/strong> week once again transformed the Principality into a mecca for electric motorsport.<\/p>\n<p>As ever, the <strong>Monaco Circuit<\/strong> attracted a host of VIPs. <strong>TT.SS.HH. Prince Albert II and Princesse Charl\u00e8ne<\/strong> were present on Sunday on the grid and on the podium at the 11t<sup>h<\/sup> Monaco E-Prix.<\/p>\n<p>Many sports stars were also in attendance at this electrifying weekend. First and foremost were figures from the Formula 1 paddock: reigning world champion <strong>Lando Norris<\/strong>, <strong>Carlos Sainz<\/strong>, <strong>Nico H\u00fclkenberg<\/strong>, <strong>Gabriel Bortoleto<\/strong>, <strong>Oliver Bearman<\/strong>, <strong>Christian Horner<\/strong> and <strong>Flavio Briatore<\/strong>. <strong>Valentin Vacherot<\/strong>, currently ranked 18<sup>th<\/sup> in the world in tennis, and <strong>Alpha Diallo<\/strong>, a basketball player for AS Monaco, were among those who came to watch the event.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"fr\">Lando Norris aper\u00e7u dans la Pit Lane du Monaco E-Prix \ud83d\udc40\u26a1\ufe0f<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/MonacoEPrix?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#MonacoEPrix<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/FormulaE?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#FormulaE<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/MonacoCircuit?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#MonacoCircuit<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/tNP4AwraM1\">pic.twitter.com\/tNP4AwraM1<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Automobile Club de Monaco (@ACM_Media) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ACM_Media\/status\/2055979506217767209?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 17, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>An intense weekend<\/h4>\n<p>As well as the stars, the 40 000 spectators who packed the grandstands over the two days were treated to some thrilling races. The first was won, following a tactical battle, by <strong>Nyck de Vries<\/strong> (<strong>Mahindra Racing<\/strong>), ahead of Mitch Evans (Jaguar TCS Racing) and Josep Maria Mart\u00ed (Cupra Kiro). And the second, dominated by reigning world champion <strong>Oliver Rowland<\/strong> (<strong>Nissan Formula E Team<\/strong>), ahead of Felipe Drugovich (Andretti Formula E) and Ant\u00f3nio F\u00e9lix da Costa (Jaguar TCS Racing).<\/p>\n<p>Six different drivers from five teams on the two podiums: the 10th and 11th editions proved once again that Formula E remains stunning and unpredictable right up to the very end. A motorsport weekend just the way we like it: excitement, tension, spectacle, pushing the limits\u2026 The Monaco E-Prix always inspires passion, and the public turned out in force throughout the two days of competition.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>A major debut for the GEN4<\/h4>\n<p>One of the highlights of the weekend was the first public appearance of the <strong>GEN4<\/strong>, the single-seater set to make its <strong>Formula E<\/strong> debut next season. Driven around the Monaco Circuit by <strong>David Coulthard<\/strong>, the former F1 driver was thoroughly impressed by the experience.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>I\u2019m speechless! What a machine!<\/em>\u201d said the two-time winner of the Monaco Grand Prix in Formula 1 after his first few laps. \u201c<em>The drivers are going to experience something that no one has ever experienced in motorsport before. It redefines what a racing car can be.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>The season continues<\/h4>\n<p>Thank you to the teams involved and the 570 marshals who worked on this <strong>2026 Monaco E-Prix<\/strong> and who, once again, demonstrated great professionalism.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>ABB FIA Formula E World Championship<\/strong> continues with seven rounds remaining in the 2025\/2026 season.
