The feature races in the support categories provided the perfect start to the final day of the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco 2026. With F2, F3, and the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup all in action, Sunday morning delivered its share of strategic battles and decisive overtakes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The three support categories gave spectators a superb preview as the opening act to the Formula 1<\/strong> race at 3:00 pm<\/strong>. Nikola Tsolov<\/strong> (Campos Racing) in F2<\/strong>, Brando Badoer<\/strong> (Rodin Motorsport) in F3<\/strong>, and Theo Oeverhaus<\/strong> (Martinet by Almeras) in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup<\/strong> were the three winners. A look back at this exciting morning on Sunday, June 7th<\/strong>, at the Monaco Circuit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n

F2 : Tsolov’s making it three<\/h3>\n

Another impressive show of strength from Nikola Tsolov<\/strong> (Campos Racing) ! The Red Bull Junior Team prot\u00e9g\u00e9 claimed his third victory in the Principality. Starting from second place, he took the lead with just seven laps to go. Alexander Dunne<\/strong> (Rodin Motorsport) secured a superb second-place finish, followed by Dino Beganovic<\/strong> (DAMS Lucas Oil).<\/p>\n

The race took a surprising turn during the pit stops. Trapped by cold tires that made the cars particularly difficult to control, the drivers had to deal with tricky exit laps. These precarious grip conditions reshuffled the deck and led to some spectacular overtaking maneuvers late in the race.<\/p>\n

For the favorites, it’s a weekend to forget. Struggling after his pit stop, pole sitter Rafael C\u00e2mara<\/strong> (Invicta Racing) drove straight on at Sainte-D\u00e9vote and retired while battling with Tsolov. Gabriele Min\u00ec<\/strong> (MP Motorsport) also lost out big time : a poor pit stop cost him any chances of scoring points. While he barely retains the championship lead, his advantage over Tsolov is now down to a single point.<\/p>\n

F3 : Badoer surprises Na\u00ebl and takes the win<\/h3>\n

A brilliant performance by Brando Badoer<\/strong> (Rodin Motorsport) : starting from second place, he clinched a superb first victory in Formula 3. Pole-sitter Th\u00e9ophile Na\u00ebl<\/strong> (Campos Racing), caught off guard right from the start, had to settle for second place. He finished ahead of Freddie Slater<\/strong> (Trident), who rounded out the podium.<\/p>\n

Much calmer than the previous day\u2019s sprint event, this feature race was marked by the drivers\u2019 high level of discipline. Despite a brief safety car period following an incident at the Rascasse on the first lap, the order at the front remained unchanged. The real spectacle unfolded at the back of the pack, the scene of some fantastic battles.<\/p>\n

A successful race for Ugo Ugochukwu<\/strong> (Campos Racing). By crossing the finish line in a very solid 4th place, the championship leader has significantly extended his lead in the overall standings. The top three remains exactly the same following this race in Monaco.<\/p>\n

\"\"Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup : Oeverhaus in control<\/h3>\n

Total domination for Theo Oeverhaus<\/strong> in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup<\/strong> ! Untouchable from the pole position, the German driver dominated from start to finish to claim victory in this season\u2019s opening race. At the finish line, he beat the highly promising rookie Andrea Bristot<\/strong> (Dinamic Motorsport SRL) and Gustav Burton<\/strong> (Team GP Elite).<\/p>\n

Unlike last year, the race went off without a hitch this time. In a race where the front-runners locked in their positions right from the start, Robert de Haan<\/strong> (BWT Lechner Racing) suffered the day\u2019s only disappointment. The Dutchman, who led Friday\u2019s Free Practice sessions, ultimately fell just short of the podium, finishing in a bitter 4th place.<\/p>\n
