Having become the youngest driver ever to win in the Principality, the Italian continued to write his own story in front of thousands of fans and numerous celebrities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This <strong>83<sup>rd<\/sup><\/strong> edition of the <strong>Monaco Grand Prix<\/strong> will, without a doubt, be remembered for a long time to come. In the memories of Italian fans, who saw one of their own triumph in the Principality for the first time since 2004. In the memories of motorsport enthusiasts, who experienced a historic moment with the crowning of the youngest winner on the Monaco Circuit, at the age of 19 years, 9 months and 13 days. But also, and above all, in the memories of the celebrities and spectators present at the track, who will not soon forget a <a href=\"https:\/\/acm.mc\/en\/f1-antonelli-writes-his-own-story-in-monaco\/\">Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco 2026 that was thrilling from start to finish<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\ud835\uddda\ud835\udde5\ud835\uddd4\ud835\udde1\ud835\uddd7\ud835\uddd8 \ud835\uddde\ud835\udddc\ud835\udde0\ud835\udddc \ud83d\udc4f\ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddf9<\/p>\n<p>What a podium \ud83d\ude2e\u200d\ud83d\udca8<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/hashtag\/MonacoGP?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#MonacoGP<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/hashtag\/F1?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#F1<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/hashtag\/MonacoCircuit?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#MonacoCircuit<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a9\ufe0f ACM Matchavariani <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/6syckz9g7p\">pic.twitter.com\/6syckz9g7p<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Automobile Club de Monaco (@ACM_Media) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ACM_Media\/status\/2063678625484795999?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 7, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><strong>Antonelli emerges from the chaos as the master<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While <strong>Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes)<\/strong> achieved the Grand Slam by securing pole position, victory, the fastest lap in the race and leading from start to finish, behind him, the Grand Prix was marked by complete chaos. His team-mate <strong>George Russell<\/strong> had a nightmare afternoon: a five-second penalty that wasn\u2019t served, followed by a drive-through penalty, leaving him to finish in 12<sup>th<\/sup> place.<\/p>\n<p>At <strong>Scuderia Ferrari<\/strong>, the results were also mixed. <strong>Lewis Hamilton<\/strong> took second place on the podium, whilst <strong>Charles Leclerc<\/strong> was affected by brake problems before running off the track late in the race. A podium finish appeared to be within reach for the Monegasque driver, but what he later described as an \u201cunacceptable\u201d issue brought the local hero\u2019s hopes to an end.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Red Bull<\/strong> was the third team to experience mixed fortunes. French driver <strong>Isack Hadjar<\/strong> secured his first podium finish with the Austrian team. His team-mate, <strong>Max Verstappen<\/strong>, was unable to capitalise on his chances. The four-time world champion, who started second on the grid, was forced out of contention by a major mechanical issue at the start.<\/p>\n<p>As for <strong>McLaren<\/strong>, <strong>Oscar Piastri<\/strong> avoided trouble to finish fourth, but <strong>Lando Norris<\/strong> also retired, with reliability issues bringing the reigning world champion\u2019s race to an end. For its part, <strong>Racing Bulls<\/strong> performed well, with <strong>Liam Lawson<\/strong> and <strong>Arvid Lindblad<\/strong> finishing fifth and sixth respectively.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10625418\" src=\"https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Follete-36-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1707\" srcset=\"https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Follete-36-scaled.jpg 2560w, https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Follete-36-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Follete-36-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Follete-36-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Follete-36-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/acm.mc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Follete-36-2048x1365.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2560px) 100vw, 2560px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For the first time since the 2018 Belgian Grand Prix, three French drivers scored points in the same race. While <strong>Isack Hadjar<\/strong> celebrated the first Formula 1 podium of his career with <strong>Red Bull<\/strong>, the end of the afternoon proved far more frustrating for <strong>Pierre Gasly<\/strong>. The Alpine driver crossed the finish line in third place and appeared set for a historic podium before being demoted to 7<sup>th<\/sup> after receiving two penalties. A decision that the French team has since announced it intends to appeal. <strong>Esteban Ocon<\/strong>, meanwhile, secured 9<sup>th<\/sup> place for <strong>Haas<\/strong> to complete a strong day for the French contingent.<\/p>\n<p>Between numerous incidents, reliability issues and multiple penalties, <strong>Fernando Alonso<\/strong> secured a point for 10<sup>th<\/sup> place, <strong>Aston Martin\u2019s<\/strong> first of the season. The result was confirmed a few hours after the finish, when <strong>Sergio P\u00e9rez (Cadillac)<\/strong> received his second personal penalty.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The paddock and grandstands filled with excitement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Monaco Circuit<\/strong> once again attracted a host of celebrities. <strong>TT.SS.HH. Prince Albert II and Princess Charl\u00e8ne<\/strong>, frequent visitors to motor racing events, were naturally in attendance during the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>A host of celebrities were also present at the most prestigious Grand Prix of the year. Sports stars such as Gi\u00e1nnis Antetoko\u00fanmpo (NBA), who waved the chequered flag, and Paul Pogba (AS Monaco), television stars including Lily Collins and Noah Schnapp, as well as singers, influencers and media personalities Kim and Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian were among those who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/shorts\/nLllRTYAdaI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">attended the event<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In total, the <strong>250 000 spectators<\/strong> who attended over the four days enjoyed thrilling races and qualifying sessions featuring <strong>Formula 1<\/strong> and the three support categories (<strong>Formula 2<\/strong>, <strong>Formula 3<\/strong> and the <strong>Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the <a href=\"https:\/\/acm.mc\/en\/epreuves\/formula-1-grand-prix-de-monaco\/event\/mgp-live-fanzone\/\"><strong>MGP Live Fan Zone<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0proved to be a must-visit destination at the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco 2026.
