Building on the major changes requested by competitors and implemented by the Organizing Committee of Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) for the 2026 edition, Rallye Monte Carlo Historique continues to evolve whilst preserving the authentic spirit that has made it famous since its inception in 1998. Discover a generously laid-out route, redesigned but still highly appealing!<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to the expanded selection of vehicles (models that raced between 1911 and 1986) contesting regularity stages on closed roads, new features are marking this new era of Rallye Monte Carlo Historique: the creation of a service park and a reorganization of the route \u2013 which has increased in overall distance \u2013 featuring notably revised stages to give even greater prominence to the sporting aspect! A timed stage will begin immediately following the end of the Concentration Leg<\/strong> on Friday January 29<\/strong>, after the event kicked off the previous day, Thursday January 28<\/strong>, from Bad Homburg, Barcelona, Monte Carlo<\/strong> and Reims.<\/strong> The destination is Pont-de-l’Is\u00e8re (13:00)<\/strong>, on the edge of the legendary Route Nationale 7, which is crossed by the 45th<\/sup> parallel of the Northern Hemisphere. On the program for this first part of the Classification Leg<\/strong> are the first two regularity stages in the Vercors massif. And they’re no mean feat! For instance, ‘Col Gaudissart \/ Bouvante’ (RS 1 – 7.5 km – 14:35)<\/strong>, with Col de l’\u00c9charasson (1,146 m) as the ultimate test, and ‘Col de Tourniol \/ Barbi\u00e8res’ (RS 2 – 10.5 km – 15:55)<\/strong> are the first stages of the challenge. Finally, the route heads to the Champ de Mars in Valence<\/strong>, the prefecture of the Dr\u00f4me department and a traditional stage town, where the leading teams are expected to arrive starting at 17:15<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

Don’t miss the second part of the Classification Leg<\/strong> on Saturday January 30<\/strong>, starting at 07:15<\/strong>. To kick things off, the brand-new stage ‘Saint-Laurent-du-Pape \/ Toulaud’ (RS 3\/6 – 27.5 km – 08:10\/13:55)<\/strong>, to be completed twice, interspersed with sections from the same stages as the previous day, namely ‘Col Gaudissart \/ Bouvante’ (RS 4 – 7.5 km \u2013 10:20)<\/strong> and ‘Col de Tourniol \/ Barbi\u00e8res’ (RS 5 – 10.5 km \u2013 11:40)<\/strong>, not forgetting a regrouping at Chabeuil (12:30)<\/strong>. The return to the support area at Pont-de-l’Is\u00e8re<\/strong> is scheduled for 15:15<\/strong>, before entering Parc Ferm\u00e9 in Valence<\/strong> at 16:20<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The route heads for the Ard\u00e8che on Sunday January 31<\/strong> at 07:00<\/strong>, setting off from Valence<\/strong>, for the first part of the<\/strong> Common Leg<\/strong>. First time control will happen at Tournon-sur-Rh\u00f4ne (07:45)<\/strong>, followed by ‘Lalouvesc \/ Saint-Jeure-d’Andaure’ (SR 7 – 14.5 km – 09:00)<\/strong>, a stop at Saint-Agr\u00e8ve (10:05)<\/strong> and the ‘Lachamp-Rapha\u00ebl \/ Burzet’<\/strong> monument (SR 8 – 14 km – 11:35)<\/strong>. The first two regularity stages are followed by a regrouping at Vals-les-Bains (13:00)<\/strong>, then a time control at Privas (14:30 pm)<\/strong>, before concluding with a third run in two days through ‘Saint-Laurent-du-Pape \/ Toulaud’ (RS 9 – 27.5 km \u2013 15:25)<\/strong>. Then a return to the service park at Pont-de-l’Is\u00e8re<\/strong> at 16:45<\/strong> before entering Parc Ferm\u00e9 in Valence<\/strong> at 17:50<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Diois massif in the Dr\u00f4me and the Montagne de l’Aup in the Hautes-Alpes are on the menu for Monday February 1,<\/strong> starting at 07:00<\/strong>, for the second part of the Commun Leg<\/strong>. With three regularity stages on the programme, ‘Col des Roustans \/ Saint-Nazaire-le-D\u00e9sert’ (RS 10\/12 – 29.5 km – 09:10\/14:20)<\/strong> to be tackled twice, interspersed with a regrouping in Laragne-Mont\u00e9glin (11:30)<\/strong> and a pass through ‘La Piarre \/ La B\u00e2tie-des-Fonts’ (RS 11 – 11.5 km – 12:50)<\/strong> and its famous Col de Carab\u00e8s (1,261 m), the natural border between the Hautes-Alpes and Dr\u00f4me departments. A final service stop is scheduled at Pont-de-l’Is\u00e8re<\/strong> (16:50)<\/strong> before the cars enter Parc Ferm\u00e9 in Valence<\/strong> at 17:55<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tuesday February 2<\/strong>, the start from Valence<\/strong> is set for 07:00<\/strong>\u2026 marking the start of an unusual Final Leg<\/strong> where competitors will now set off at 30-second intervals rather than at one-minute intervals! Heading for ‘Montauban-sur-l’Ouv\u00e8ze \/ Eygalayes’ (RS 13 – 26.5 km – 10:05)<\/strong>, with Col de Perty (1,302 m) and Col de Saint-Jean (1,158 m) to be crossed to begin this Final Leg of over 500 kilometres. Then ‘Seyne-les-Alpes \/ Esclangon’ (SR 14 – 23.5 km – 12:50)<\/strong> via Col du Fanget (1,459 m) is on the program for the descent towards the Principality of Monaco<\/strong>, before the time control at Digne-les-Bains<\/strong> (14:00)<\/strong> – a favourite with spectators – and the regrouping at Roquebilli\u00e8re (16:50)<\/strong>. The final showdown, just as in the glory days, takes place at night, in the legendary time trial of ‘La Boll\u00e8ne-V\u00e9subie \/ Moulinet’ (SR 15 – 22 km – 18:00)<\/strong>. The first competitors are expected to arrive at Port Hercule in Monaco<\/strong> from 19:50<\/strong> onwards. Finally, in keeping with tradition, the Gala Evening and Awards Ceremony will take place the following evening, Wednesday February 3<\/strong>, in the prestigious Salle des Etoiles<\/strong> at Sporting Monte-Carlo<\/strong>.
