The 95th<\/sup> Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo, scheduled for January 21\u201324, will kick off in exactly 100 days. Here\u2019s a look at the highlights of an event full of surprises and new features, which promises to be, once again, particularly challenging.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

From the very start, the Rallye Monte-Carlo 2027<\/strong> will be a challenging event. After the start at Port Hercule in Monaco<\/strong> (Thursday, January 21), the first special stage, between Col de Bleine <\/strong>and Aiglun, will be one of the highlights of this year\u2019s edition. \u201cIt\u2019s the nice surprise of this year\u2019s event. You won\u2019t want to miss this special stage<\/em>\u201d, said Romain Pugliese, Clerk of the Course of the Rallye Monte-Carlo and in charge of the route. Scheduled for the second run on Sunday morning, this special stage will return to Monte Carlo after a 24-year absence.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the rally heads north of Gap<\/strong> on Friday (100.56 kilometers between Hautes-Alpes and Is\u00e8re), followed by an intense day on Saturday, the longest day, in the Hautes-Alpes and Dr\u00f4me (112.92 km). Finally, the return to Monaco on Sunday will be decisive, concluding with the famous Col de Turini<\/strong> in the Power Stage, where the winner of the 95th<\/sup> Rallye Monte-Carlo will be decided.<\/p>\n

A 2027 season full of changes<\/span><\/h3>\n

The 2027 season will mark a turning point for the World Rally Championship, with the arrival of a new promoter and new regulations aimed at modernising the sport while preserving its DNA. And it all begins in 2027, with new initiatives like the \u201cWRC Arena\u201d to attract a bigger audience. From a sporting perspective, these regulations are specifically designed to boost the championship\u2019s appeal. The new cars will be less complex and more affordable, making it possible to attract new manufacturers and independent tuners. \u201cWe\u2019re all excited to see how this plays out on the roads,<\/i>\u201d says Romain Pugliese. \u201cWe should soon see the new cars out for test drives, and there will certainly be some surprises in store!<\/i>\u201d<\/p>\n
