Sebastian Vettel won the 75th Grand Prix de Monaco F1. Started from the second position on the grid, the German took the advantage on his team mate Kimi Räikkönen during the pit-stop period. His first stint was five laps longer than the 2007 World Champion. That gave him the lead after his unique pit-stop at the 40th lap.
The Ferrari driver win ahead his team mate Räikkönen and the Red Bull of Daniel Ricciardo. The Aussie is the other winner of the tyres changes strategy. Valtteri Bottas took the fourth place of this Grand Prix de Monaco .
He never was a really threat for the two Ferrari on the lead. He finished ahead the second Red Bull of Max Verstappen.
The other silver arrow driver Lewis Hamilton ended his difficult week-end with a seventh place under the checkered flag. This 75th Grand Prix de Monaco really started to thrill until the 60th lap when Pascal Wehrlein made an impressive fly at the Portier corner. Touched by Jenson Button’s McLaren, the German crashed against the Tecpro barriers. Fortunately, without damages.
This incident caused the neutralization of the race behind the safety-car. On the 65th lap, Marcus Ericsson made a mistake because of cold brakes. He spun into the wall at Sainte-Dévote. Stoffel Vandoorne lost his points hopes in the same place before that Daniil Kvyat closed the list of retires seven laps later.
