Antique ergonomics

Inside the cockpit of the Gordini T16, built in 1952, which took part in 17 races of the Drivers World Championship and won in Reims that year, driven by Jean Behra : a wheel almost as big as the helm of a huge liner, a gear lever in a rather strange location, pedals that would be difficult to reach by an average human being… the drivers of the previous century sometimes needed the special talents of a contortionist.
