A legendary race in the heart of Monaco

The Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco is an unmissable event on the FIA Formula 1 World Championship calendar, and one of the sport’s most iconic races. First held in 1929, it is regarded as one of the most prestigious motorsport competitions in the world, alongside the Indianapolis 500, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the Rallye Monte-Carlo WRC. Its unique circuit stands out for its spectacular urban layout, winding through the very heart of the Principality of Monaco. Both impressive and unforgiving, the Monaco circuit leaves no room for error, demanding millimetre-perfect precision, unwavering focus, and absolute technical mastery from the drivers. As such, the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco is widely recognized as one of the most challenging and rewarding tests in the championship. The next edition will take place from 4 to 7 June 2026, marking the opening round of the European leg of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The official ticket office will open in the coming weeks. Stay tuned! More than just a race, the Monaco Grand Prix embodies a certain vision of Formula 1: one of historical heritage, outstanding organization, and a unique setting between sea and mountains — making it a truly one-of-a-kind event.    " ["post_title"]=> string(44) "Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco" ["post_excerpt"]=> string(0) "" ["post_status"]=> string(7) "publish" ["comment_status"]=> string(6) "closed" ["ping_status"]=> string(6) "closed" ["post_password"]=> string(0) "" ["post_name"]=> string(30) "formula-1-grand-prix-de-monaco" ["to_ping"]=> string(0) "" ["pinged"]=> string(0) "" ["post_modified"]=> string(19) "2026-05-21 16:41:01" ["post_modified_gmt"]=> string(19) "2026-05-21 14:41:01" ["post_content_filtered"]=> string(0) "" ["post_parent"]=> int(0) ["guid"]=> string(65) "https://acm.mc/epreuves/formula-1-tag-heuer-grand-prix-de-monaco/" ["menu_order"]=> int(0) ["post_type"]=> string(8) "epreuves" ["post_mime_type"]=> string(0) "" ["comment_count"]=> string(1) "0" ["filter"]=> string(3) "raw" } }

The weekend of the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco 2026 is not limited to the pinnacle of motorsport. Three support categories (Formula 2, Formula 3 and Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup) will be followed from Thursday afternoon… with plenty of excitement guaranteed !

Action on track, overtaking, and drivers looking to stand out, you should not miss the support categories of the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco 2026. Starting this Thursday, June 4, while the grandstands will open at 11:30 am, the circuit will be taken over by free practices sessions in Formula 3 (1:25 pm), Formula 2 (3:00 pm) and Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup (4:30 pm).

First highlight of the weekend: qualifying on Friday, June 5. The day kicks off with the F3 (11:05 am) and F2 (3:10 pm) sessions. Friday will conclude with the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup qualifying session (6:45 pm). F2 : Minì against Câmara and Tsolov

As the championship leader with one win and three podium finishes, Gabriele Minì (MP Motorsport) will be the driver to watch this weekend in Monaco. The Italian driver, member of the Alpine Academy, has already triumphed in Monaco, having won the F3 Main Race in 2024.

His closest rival, Rafael Câmara (Invicta Racing), is also a strong contender for victory. The Brazilian, who races for the Ferrari Driver Academy, is coming off two consecutive titles : the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA) in 2024, and Formula 3 in 2025.

Nikola Tsolov (Campos Racing), third in the championship with two wins, is no stranger to the streets of Monaco. The Bulgarian driver, representing the Red Bull Junior Team, has secured two victories in Monaco in Formula 3 : a sprint race (2023) and a feature race (2024).

F3: Ugochukwu to keep the lead

After just one race in Melbourne, the Formula 3 championship is still wide open. Ugo Ugochukwu (Campos Racing), eager for redemption after a difficult season with Prema Racing, is the man to beat. The American driver is hoping to do better than last year, where he finished in 13th place.

Currently third in the championship, Freddie Slater (Trident) is determined to make a strong impression in his first appearance in Monaco. The British driver, who races under the banner of the Audi Revolut Formula 1 Team, was crowned FRECA champion in 2025.

Théophile Naël (Campos Racing), who took pole position in Australia, is currently only twelfth in the standings. The 2025 Macau Grand Prix winner, however, had one of the fastest paces on the grid during winter testing. The Frenchman will certainly be one to watch this weekend.

Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup: a high-intensity start for the season

The first round of the 2026 season will take place this weekend at the Monaco Grand Prix. Robert de Haan (BWT Lechner Racing), the 2025 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup runner-up and winner of last year’s race here, is the clear favorite. After winning the Carrera Cup Germany in 2025, the goal is now clear for the Dutchman and the youngest driver in the category.

The 2025 rookie champion, Flynt Schuring (Schumacher CLRT), and an impressive third overall, does not intend to play a supporting role. And finally, the young Finnish-French driver Marcus Amand (BWT Lechner Racing), the reigning Porsche Carrera Cup France champion, could be one of the weekend’s pleasant surprises. Like Flynt Schuring, he was promoted to Porsche Junior Driver ahead of the 2026 season.

If you’d like to meet the drivers, the MGP Live Fanzone will host Minì, Tsolov, Herta, and Montoya (Formula 2) on Friday from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm. The following day, three Porsche drivers will be in the spotlight from 11:20 am to 11:30 am : Amand, Kieffer, and Schouten.
