Blue sky, just like a Matra

The paddock of Grand Prix Historique de Monaco woke up slowly, on Friday morning, under an immaculate sky, just like the livery of the Matra MS120B (with a French V12 engine) driven by Jean-Pierre Beltoise in 1971. He retired after a transmission problem, but he had managed to post the 7th best time in qualification.

Entered for Race E, this car beautiful car will be driven by Nicolas Matile. The next year, in 1972, Beltoise took an historical win in Monaco, under the rain, in a British-made BRM.
