The “CRIC” is to the Rally what the Marshals training camp is to the Grands Prix… Mean by “CRIC”: Circuit Road Instructions to the Commissioners. It took place in Monaco , 6 December 2015.
Allow everyone to find their marks before the major 2016 events, this is the purpose of the CRIC. The initial target of this field operation was to test all the actors in real conditions as desired by the training committee of the Corps of Marshals of the Automobile Club de Monaco .
A real practice that has assessed the teams in place, on a course made up for the 84th Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo or especially for a regularity stage dedicated for the 19th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique or the 17th Rallye Monte-Carlo Carlo ZENN “Zero Emission / No Noise”.
In addition to the timing control and standards, practices on which the all the Commissioners’ teams have had to train a whole series of possible events, known and likely to mobilize the security device were simulated, according to multiple scenarios provided, taking into account regularly occurring events and incidents in the events organized each year.
Commissioners of the teams, each under the direction of their Chief, have thus relayed on various positions start and finish to complete including the usual timing work after completing all the installation of operations hardware provided by the different providers.
Throughout this beautiful Sunday, several members of the body of training committee of the Corps of Marshals Board has ensured the monitoring and evaluation of all the participant. It ended with a debriefing and assessment, to prepare with confidence for the next 3 rallies organized by ACM between January, February and October 2016.

1890 – 2015, members of the Automobile Club de Monaco celebrated 125 years of automobile passion Thursday, June 25th during an amazing birthday party at Grimaldi Forum. The venue was transformed for one evening in an Automobile Sport Museum. In the presence of S.A.S. Prince Albert II, Minister of State Michel Roger and many representatives of the Monegasque Authorities, this party brought together nearly 4,000 members especially invited by President Me Michel Boeri.
« The adventure started in 1890 with 22 guys and continues today with more than 5,000 members », highlighted, in the introduction of his speech, the ACM President. « This is proof that many things were fulfilled for the past 125 years and I would like to thank all the members and especially all the volunteers, who are extremely hard working all year around, for the good performances of the competitions. Nothing would be possible without a great team and we do have a Great Team. I also raise my glass to the Sovereign Prince and his ancestors who allowed such great things to happen… ». Everyone could appreciate the retrospective film directed by Bernard Spindler, before a toast to the ACM’s longevity. The guests then enjoyed the buffets’ quality, concocted by a team of top chefs (Michel Chabran, Yves Jouanny, Michel Rostang, Jean-Paul Lacombe, Alain Dutournier and Olivier Ribaute) and orchestrated by Philippe Joannes. The evening ended with magnificent fireworks in the colors of the ACM.

Lewis you have taken your first pole at Monaco . How do you feel ?
It’s been a long time that I was waiting for. I can’t express how happy I am. It was not the easiest session of the season. I had a lot of things that kind of throw you off your rhythm. I did not have the rhythm until the two last laps. I am really happy with this pole. This is incredibly special for me and for my guys.
You join Ayrton Senna among the poleman at Monaco . Is it an important achievement in your career ?
I don’t feel like a milestone, but it is definitely an important day for me. Some years I have had the car to do it, but some things have got in the way. I have got a long way to get what Ayrton achieved here. I have finally done it and I am really happy about that.
Have you done the hard part taking the best time today ?
Only even half of the job is done. There is so much to do tomorrow. There is a long way, because there are many laps here. It is going to be mentally and physically challenging. I am looking forward to tomorrow.2006 in GP2 was the last time I started on pole here. It is a very special day and just thank you to the team.
