Oliver Rowland won the race 1 of the Formula 2 Series. Third on the grid, the British took the lead after the twice safety-car period and thanks to the troubles of Charles Leclerc (retired).

The DAMS driver took his first win this season and did a good come back at the championship classification. He is now three points behind Leclerc (77 to 74). The British’s driver finished the race ahead of Artem Markelov (+0.864) and Nobuharu Matsushita (+13.769).
