Today sees the publication of the entry list, with an ever-stronger field that once again makes the Monegasque event the benchmark international round of the Bridgestone FIA ecoRally Cup! This enthusiasm is the reward for the continuing efforts of the Organizing Committee of Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) to promote mobility, which have been tirelessly pursued since the creation of the very first Rallye Monte-Carlo des Véhicules Électriques in 1995.
Proof of this success can be seen in the entry list of the 9th E-Rallye Monte-Carlo, which includes 62 crews from 18 different countries, representing 37 models from 17 different car manufacturers! Some of these names are very well known in the automotive world. Starting with Italian Stefano Modena, co-driven by Jack Scarlett Richardson. The driver, who has competed in 70 Formula 1 Grand Prix races, culminating in a third-place finish at the 1989 Monaco Grand Prix in a Brabham, will be at the wheel of an Volkswagen ID4 Pro. Among the other well-known drivers, one name also catches the eye: Bruno Saby, accompanied by Christophe Marques. Winner of the 1988 Rallye Monte-Carlo at the wheel of a Lancia Delta HF 4WD, the French driver will compete in the E-Rally with a Lancia Ypsilon.
Among the favourites, and despite their change of vehicle (from the Kia E-Niro to the EV6 GT), keep a close eye on the two-time defending champions of the E-Rallye Monte-Carlo, the Spanish duo Eneko Conde and Lukas Sergnese, who are eyeing a hat trick in the Principality. As with the Bridgestone FIA ecoRally Cup 2025, the two championship leaders are entering the penultimate round of the season with hopes of victory in Monte Carlo. The crew of Guido Guerrini and Arthur Prusak have just taken the lead in the standings after a resounding success in Portugal. Behind them, the Czech pair Michal Zdarsky/Jakub Nabelek, double title holders, have no intention of losing their crown. Second in the 2024 E-Rally, the Monegasque crew of Olivier Campana/Nicolas Milanesio also dream of climbing to the top step of the podium on home soil. The Belgian VW Club will also be a force to be reckoned with, once again turning out in force for this edition. At the wheel will be its captain Antoine Dechamp, accompanied by Bernard Verstraete, as well as the duos Bernard Heine/Valerie Piette and, of course, Michel Decremer/Marie-Claire Martens. Finally, it is worth noting the participation on behalf of the ‘Be Safe’ association of Margaux Grundstein/Camille Gottlieb with a Volvo EC40, winners of the 2024 Performance Index …

About E-Rallye Monte-Carlo
A genuine road competition, reserved for 100% electric vehicles, without the use of an extender, this regularity event is now very popular with car manufacturers and tuners, who come to demonstrate the technological and avant-garde potential of their vehicles under real conditions. It sports a new name since 2016, following on from “Rallye Monte-Carlo des Véhicules Électriques” (from 1995 to 1999), then “Rallye Monte-Carlo Fuel Cell & Hybrids” (2005, 2006), then “Rallye Monte-Carlo des Véhicules à Energie Alternative” (from 2007 to 2011) and eventually “Rallye Monte-Carlo des Energies Nouvelles / Rallye Monte-Carlo ZENN” (from 2012 to 2015), this edition of the E-Rallye Monte-Carlo is counting for the Bridgestone FIA ecoRally Cup 2025…
