At just 2 months to go before the start of the 90th Monte Carlo Rally and the 24th Historic Monte Carlo Rally, the Organising Committee and the ACM Corps of Marshals were met this Sunday for a working day in preparation for the upcoming events.
The “C.R.I.C.” is a training for our volunteers with an objective to verify the application of the procedures and regulations which will be in place for the rallies in January.
The Marshals were thus put in real conditions on 3 Special Stages traced on the heights of the Principality of Monaco in order to carry out a life-size general rehearsal.
A necessary training to review the knowledge and skills of each participant.
This year in particular, the emphasis was on the COVID measures (no more physical contact between the Marshals and the crew)!
The FIA’s E-Safety Delegate was present for the occasion and informed the Stewards of the new standards, procedures and safety measures that will have to be put in place with the introduction of the brand new hybrid WRC cars that will start competing in the World Rally Championship in 2022.
