Race G, Free Practice: Lyons strikes again!

Youngster Michael Lyons, already the fastest in Race E free practice, changed his Surtees TS9 for a Hesketh 308 E dating back to 1977 and was quicker than all the F1s of the 80s entered in this last session of the day. He posted a 1 :33.492 and finished ahead of the Arrows A3 driven by South-African Jordan Grogor and the Tyrrell 010 lead by British driver Mike Cantillon.

Another young driver was quick, Evens Stievenart, in another Tyrrell 010.
