A legendary race at the heart of Monaco!

The Monaco Grand Prix is an iconic motorsport event of the Formula 1 World Championship, held each year on the streets of Monte Carlo since 1929. Widely regarded as one of the most prestigious races in the world, alongside the Indianapolis 500, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the Rallye Monte-Carlo in motorsport legend, for the first time in 2025, the race adopted a title sponsor, becoming the “Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix de Monaco.” This milestone results from a partnership between Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer and luxury group LVMH, further strengthening their presence in the world of Formula 1. Already the Official Timekeeper of Formula 1 and a partner of the Automobile Club de Monaco since 2011, TAG Heuer deepens its commitment to motorsport. This collaboration marks a new era for the Monaco Grand Prix — one that combines heritage with innovation. Since its inception in 1929, drivers and teams have relished the challenge of racing on the narrow, undulating streets of the Principality of Monaco, with its sharp corners, elevation changes, and iconic tunnel. It remains one of the most demanding circuits on the Formula 1 calendar — and one that every team and driver dreams of winning.  " ["post_title"]=> string(40) "Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix de Monaco" ["post_excerpt"]=> string(0) "" ["post_status"]=> string(7) "publish" ["comment_status"]=> string(6) "closed" ["ping_status"]=> string(6) "closed" ["post_password"]=> string(0) "" ["post_name"]=> string(40) "formula-1-tag-heuer-grand-prix-de-monaco" ["to_ping"]=> string(0) "" ["pinged"]=> string(0) "" ["post_modified"]=> string(19) "2025-05-19 09:56:44" ["post_modified_gmt"]=> string(19) "2025-05-19 07:56:44" ["post_content_filtered"]=> string(0) "" ["post_parent"]=> int(0) ["guid"]=> string(65) "https://acm.mc/epreuves/formula-1-tag-heuer-grand-prix-de-monaco/" ["menu_order"]=> int(0) ["post_type"]=> string(8) "epreuves" ["post_mime_type"]=> string(0) "" ["comment_count"]=> string(1) "0" ["filter"]=> string(3) "raw" } }

Mandatory two-stop Strategies in 2025

On Wednesday 26 February, the FIA World Council announced an unprecedented measure for the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship season. With the aim of diversifying race strategies, two pit stops will be compulsory for each driver at the Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix de Monaco 2025.

“Following recent discussions in the F1 Commission, a specific requirement for the Monaco GP has been approved mandating the use of at least three sets of tyres in the Race, with a minimum of two different tyre compounds to be used if it’s a dry race.” FIA

“This decision, which has long been welcomed, applies exclusively to the one and only Monaco race. The initial recommendation of the F1 Commission (made up of representatives of the teams, the FIA and Formula One), ratified last week in London and validated this Wednesday in Geneva by the World Motor Sport Council, is in line with the desire of Formula One, the FIA and the Automobile Club de Monaco to prioritise spectacle, for the players, spectators and television viewers alike. The verdict will be in on 25 May when the Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix de Monaco 2025 takes place… “ Automobile Club de Monaco
