A legendary race in the heart of Monaco

The Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco is an unmissable event on the FIA Formula 1 World Championship calendar, and one of the sport’s most iconic races. First held in 1929, it is regarded as one of the most prestigious motorsport competitions in the world, alongside the Indianapolis 500, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the Rallye Monte-Carlo WRC. Its unique circuit stands out for its spectacular urban layout, winding through the very heart of the Principality of Monaco. Both impressive and unforgiving, the Monaco circuit leaves no room for error, demanding millimetre-perfect precision, unwavering focus, and absolute technical mastery from the drivers. As such, the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco is widely recognized as one of the most challenging and rewarding tests in the championship. The next edition will take place from 4 to 7 June 2026, marking the opening round of the European leg of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The official ticket office will open in the coming weeks. Stay tuned! More than just a race, the Monaco Grand Prix embodies a certain vision of Formula 1: one of historical heritage, outstanding organization, and a unique setting between sea and mountains — making it a truly one-of-a-kind event.    " ["post_title"]=> string(44) "Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco" ["post_excerpt"]=> string(0) "" ["post_status"]=> string(7) "publish" ["comment_status"]=> string(6) "closed" ["ping_status"]=> string(6) "closed" ["post_password"]=> string(0) "" ["post_name"]=> string(30) "formula-1-grand-prix-de-monaco" ["to_ping"]=> string(0) "" ["pinged"]=> string(0) "" ["post_modified"]=> string(19) "2026-05-21 16:41:01" ["post_modified_gmt"]=> string(19) "2026-05-21 14:41:01" ["post_content_filtered"]=> string(0) "" ["post_parent"]=> int(0) ["guid"]=> string(65) "https://acm.mc/epreuves/formula-1-tag-heuer-grand-prix-de-monaco/" ["menu_order"]=> int(0) ["post_type"]=> string(8) "epreuves" ["post_mime_type"]=> string(0) "" ["comment_count"]=> string(1) "0" ["filter"]=> string(3) "raw" } }

Next stop: Monaco!

With the Canadian Grand Prix just over, the F1 paddock is already turning its attention to the Principality for the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco 2026, taking place from 4 to 7 June. Kimi Antonelli and Mercedes will arrive as the leaders of the World Championship.

The Monaco Circuit, a unique venue on the calendar, always guarantees spectacular racing. The intense duel between Kimi Antonelli and George Russell at Mercedes in Canada is set to continue at the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco 2026. After a fierce battle won by Russell in the Sprint, it was his young team-mate Antonelli who came out on top following a masterful Grand Prix. A race marked by the Briton’s retirement, due to mechanical failure, which saw the Italian gain a significant advantage in the championship.

The gap between Antonelli and Russell now stands at 43 points. With his fourth consecutive victory under his belt, the Bologna-born driver will head to the streets of the Principality in superb form. Will one of the Mercedes drivers claim their first victory in Monaco? Kimi Antonelli could, in fact, become the youngest winner in the Principality: he will be 19 years, 9 months and 13 days old on Sunday 7 June.

McLaren, Ferrari and Red Bull remain close behind

Just one year ago, on 25 May 2025, Lando Norris (McLaren) triumphed at the Monaco Circuit. But in Canada, the papaya team had a nightmare Grand Prix, suffering from the wrong tyre strategy at the start and finishing with zero points in the championship. The team holding the record for the most wins in the Principality (16) will be looking to surprise the Silver Arrows.

Ferrari and Red Bull will also be looking to create a surprise. On home soil, Charles Leclerc (winner in 2024) will be the focus of all the fans’ attention, as will his team-mate Lewis Hamilton, who won in 2008, 2016 and 2019. From the Austrian team’s side, Max Verstappen (winner in 2021 and 2023) will, as always, be one to watch.

The weekend will kick off on Thursday 4 June with free practice sessions for the three support categories (Formula 2, Formula 3 and Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup). F1 will take centre stage from Friday onwards with its traditional format: two free practice sessions on Friday (1:30 pm and 5:00 pm), a third on Saturday at 12:30 pm, followed by qualifying at 4:00 pm. Finally, the drivers will get underway at 3:00 pm on Sunday 7 June for an intense 78-lap race.

Don’t wait any longer, come along!

A must-visit attraction at the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco 2026, the MGP Live Fanzone will be open from Thursday to Sunday at the Place d’Armes, in the Condamine district, just a stone’s throw from the circuit. There will be a range of free activities on offer, including interviews with the drivers, driving simulators and live music…

And the last few tickets are available online! For Thursday, a single ticket price of €30 is available. Tickets for children under 16, who must be accompanied by an adult, are free!

It is still possible to experience the thrill of Formula 1 with tickets for Friday. Tickets are available from €175 for the remaining seats. Children under 16 benefit from a 50% discount on this day!
