SR2 : Les Belges continuent…

Un équipage belge peut en cacher un autre. Après la victoire du duo Cunin-Peeters dans la SR1, Bernard Heine et Valérie Piette, engagés par le Belgian VW Club dans une autre ID3, ont pris le relais dans la SR2, entre La Bollène Vésubie et Peira Cava (18,106 km), via le fameux Col de Turini, haut-lieu du WRC depuis des décennies. Et comme si cela ne suffisait pas, il y a eu là le premier doublé belge de ce 7e E-Rallye Monte-Carlo puisque Jean-François Devillers et Eric Chapa, deux autres membres éminents du Belgian VW Club, ont hissé leur VW IDA GTX au 2erang.

Pour sauver l’honneur des pilotes français, Jérôme Aymard et Christophe Marques, dans leur Nissan Ariya aux couleurs du réseau de recharge eBorn, ont pris la 3e place de cette SR2, ex-aequo avec un équipage 100% féminin du Tesla Owner Club, Lesly Legallais et Caroline Guerraz dans une Model 3.
