If you are coming from afar and wish to avoid airplane travel, the night train is the most practical and eco-friendly option.

From France: An overnight train connects Paris to Nice, reducing your carbon footprint by up to 20 times compared to flying, and allowing you to make the most of your day. For greater comfort, we recommend you opt for a sleeper seat.

From Europe: If you’re traveling from abroad, consult the map of night trains in Europe to plan the most efficient route.

Day trains: Thanks to Europe’s High-Speed Train network, getting to Monaco is easy and comfortable. Numerous connections allow you to reach the Principality from many French and international cities.

For more information and to book your tickets, visit the Trainline and SNCF websites.

Monaco is a short train ride away: 30 minutes from Nice and Ventimiglia, 11 minutes from Menton

From Nice or Ventimiglia: approx. 30 minutes’ journey, with trains running every 15 minutes.

From Menton: the journey is even shorter, just 11 minutes!

For more information and to book your ZOU! Train tickets, visit the SNCF websites.

A ZOU! train ticket is valid for a specific journey, on all trains running that day. You can therefore book your round-trip ticket in advance and take a train at a different time than the one indicated on the ticket.

Consider the Bus as a second alternative

To reach Monaco, you can also choose the bus with the following options:

  1. Line 600: Menton – Monaco – Nice
Line 600 serves the routes between Menton, Monaco, and Nice, with a frequency of every 15-20 minutes. The fares vary depending on the distance traveled.Line 601 operates the same route at night.
  2. Line 602: Nice Vauban – Monaco (Tourism Office)
Line 602 connects Nice Vauban to Monaco (Tourism Office), with departures about every 2 hours, Monday to Saturday only.
  3. Line 80 LER: Nice Airport – Menton via Monaco
Line 80 LER connects Nice Airport to Menton, passing through Monaco. However, the fare is higher, at €20,50.

All buses are accessible to people with reduced mobility.

For detailed schedules and fares, you can visit the official Zou and Lignes d’Azur websites.

If you are coming by car, consider carpooling!

To reduce road congestion, we invite all the fans to coordinate and share rides to Monaco during the event.

Why carpool?

  • Share fuel and toll expenses.
  • Reduce road congestion.
  • Reduce air pollution.

How to do it?

  1. Online platforms: Download the BlaBlaCar app to find or offer a ride.
  2. Social media: Join Facebook groups or forums dedicated to travel to Monaco during the event.
  3. Carpool with friends: Organize with other spectators or friends for a shared trip.

Where to park in Monaco?

The Parking des Salines, located at the western entrance of Monaco, opposite the Exotic Garden, with a capacity of 1,790 spaces.

It allows parking at the preferential rate of €10/day during the event (for any entry to the parking between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.) and avoiding the dense urban traffic related to the event, both at arrival and departure.

Getting to the circuit with 2 options:

  • On foot in less than 15 minutes, taking the Galerie des Salines and the Wurtemberg footbridge, following a well-marked pedestrian path. Please note that this route is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. We recommend using the free shuttle bus to Fontvieille.
  • Free shuttle with departures every 10 minutes between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Please note that the shuttle is accessible free of charge on presentation of a parking ticket and does not drop passengers directly near the circuit. Instead, it stops at Avenue Albert II in Fontvieille, requiring an additional 15-minute walk to reach the circuit (using lifts accessible to people with reduced mobility).

Discover the Shuttle Route and Pedestrian Access to get to the circuit.

You can book your spot in advance in Monaco’s public parking lots.

Official site:

The exits from the Monaco train station are close to the access points to the F1 public Grandstands.

Once on-site, we recommend exploring the city on foot or by bus.

Monapass is an all-in-one application that makes it easy to get around Monaco, allowing you to make purchases directly from your smartphone.

It also offers quick access to bus and shuttle timetables, as well as to the many self-service electric bike stations thanks to the Monabike service.

Please note that to take advantage of the Monabike service, you need to create a personal account. This can be done in a matter of seconds, directly via the Monapass application or on the Monabike website.

Practical Tips

Book in advance: Train and public transport tickets are often in high demand during the event. To secure your spot, book your tickets well in advance.
