SR9 : BMW devant Renault et Kia

La SR9, entre Beaumont-du-Ventoux et Sault (29,9 km), a permis à BMW d’ouvrir son compteur de victoires en Spéciales de Régularité dans ce 6e E-Rallye Monte-Carlo. Philippe Segura Morote et Xavier Baux, dans leur BMW IX engagé par la Force Publique de Monaco, ont devancé le chef étoilé Michel Chabran, embarqué avec Eric Mallen dans une Renault Mégane aux couleurs du réseau de recharge eborn. Les Renault étaient en forme dans cette SR9, très attendue, car point culminant du rallye, au Col des Tempêtes, juste en dessous du Mont Ventoux (1830 m d’altitude). La Zoé de Nicolas Pery et Marina Depresseux a pris la 3e place ex-aequo avec le Kia Niro de l’équipage slovène Franko Spacapan-Sebastjan Kobal. Mais aucun changement au classement général n’est intervenu puisque Jacques Pastor et Fulvio Gazzola (Kia EV6) étaient encore aux commandes, à une spéciale de la fin de cette 3e journée, sur la route de Monaco.
